TBL Construction LLC is a family-operated home improvement contractor in Wyandotte, Michigan. This policy covers tblconstruction.llc, our Facebook and Instagram pages, and any form you fill out for us — including forms that appear inside Facebook or Instagram.
What we collect
Only what we need to give you a price and show up at the right house.
Information you give us
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address, if you give us one
- Your city, ZIP code, or property address
- What you need done — roof, siding, deck, and any details you share
- Photos you send us of your property or the problem
You give us this by calling or texting us, filling out a form on this site, filling out a form inside a Facebook or Instagram ad, messaging our page, or talking to us at your property.
Information collected automatically
- Basic device and browser information, and the pages you viewed on this site
- How you found us — for example, whether you arrived from a Facebook ad or a search
- Cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel, described below
We do not collect payment card numbers or bank details through this website. Deposits and payments are handled directly with us, in person or through a separate invoice.
Facebook and Instagram lead forms
We run ads on Facebook and Instagram. Some of those ads include an instant form you can fill out without leaving the app. When you submit one, Meta passes us the information you entered — typically your name, phone number, city, and answers to a couple of questions about your project.
We receive that information because you chose to submit it to us. We use it to contact you about your project and nothing else. Meta's own handling of your data is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy, which is separate from ours.
The Meta Pixel and advertising cookies
This site may use the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code that tells us when someone who visited our site later saw or clicked one of our ads. It helps us understand which ads actually bring in work, so we stop paying for the ones that don't.
The Pixel may set cookies in your browser. You can control or block cookies in your browser settings, and you can adjust how Meta uses your activity for ads in your Meta account settings. Blocking them will not stop you from using this site or getting a quote from us.
How we use your information
- To call, text, or email you back about the project you asked about
- To prepare an estimate and schedule an inspection or a job
- To send you photos of your roof or property when we've inspected it
- To follow up if we haven't heard back — a reasonable number of times, not forever
- To keep records of work we've performed, for warranty and insurance purposes
- To understand which of our ads are working
Calls and text messages
When you give us your phone number, you're agreeing that we can contact you at it about your project — by phone call or text message. Message and data rates may apply. We're a construction company, not a marketing list: we contact you about your job, not to blast you with promotions.
Reply STOP to any text and we'll stop texting you. Ask us on a call and we'll take you off the list. Either works, and neither costs you the quote.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We have never sold it and we're not going to. We don't trade it to lead brokers, contractor networks, or anyone else who'd call you about something you didn't ask about.
We share only what's necessary, and only with:
- Service providers who help us operate — for example the company that hosts this website, or the software we use to keep track of jobs and send estimates. They may only use the information to provide that service to us.
- Suppliers and subcontractors on your job — a material supplier may need a delivery address; a specialist trade may need to reach you to schedule.
- Your insurance company — but only if you've asked us to help with a claim.
- Anyone we're legally required to share with — a court order, a subpoena, or a lawful government request.
How long we keep it
If you become a customer, we keep records of your project for as long as we may need them for warranty, insurance, and tax purposes — generally at least seven years, because that's what a roofing warranty and Michigan recordkeeping tend to require.
If you asked for a quote and didn't hire us, we keep your contact details for up to two years in case you come back, then remove them. Ask us sooner and we'll remove them sooner.
How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold, including access controls on the accounts and devices where it's stored. We're a small company and we're honest with you about the limits of that: no business of any size can promise that a system is impossible to breach. If something happened that affected your information, we'd tell you.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your information, unless we're required to keep it for warranty, tax, or legal reasons
- Stop contacting you — by text, by phone, by email, or all three
Email us or call us and we'll handle it. We won't make you fill out a form to be left alone.
Children
This site and our services are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Third-party links
This site may link to other websites — a manufacturer's warranty page, a review site, our social media. We don't control those sites and this policy doesn't cover them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes will be obvious, not buried.
